International Ethological Conference
The XXVIII International Ethological Conference - IEC will be held at Florianópolis, Santa Catarina State, Brazil, in August 20-27, 2003.
Dates have been chosen to facilitate the participation in both events by colleagues coming from anywhere in the world. Connections from Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo airports to Belém for the XIX IBAC, and then to Florianópolis to the XXVIII IEC are easy and relatively cheap if purchased in advance. Schedule still will allow time for visits to major scientific centers and for tourism.
The scientific activities of both congresses are being planned to be complementary. Several invited speakers should participate in both events.

IBAC and IEC expect and welcome you in Brazil, August 2003!
XVII Reunião Anual da FeSBE
This is the largest Brazilian Congress in Experimental Biology, inclusively Biophysics, Neurosciences, Physiology and Ethology. It is an international event, with the participation of numerous foreign scientists, and English as the second official language. It will be held in Curitiba (on the way between Florianópolis and São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro) on August 27-30, 2003.
