The Congress will be held at the Hotel Beira Rio, ( http://www.beirariohotel.com.br ) a pleasant four-star resort hotel situated on the bank of the large Guamá River, located conveniently near the campus of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA).
The Amazon forest begins on the other side of this river, and a daily river boat excursion is available. Historic downtown Belém is just downstream from the Hotel Beira Rio, and convenient transportation to the city's center is always available.
The organizing committee is pleased to announce the very economical package that has been made available for Congress delegates. We recommend that each participant make his reservation directly and as soon as possible, because the number of rooms is limited and reservations are made on a first come, first served basis.
